Canon’s Creative for a Cause is a photographic campaign encouraging Australians and New Zealanders to get creative for the causes they are passionate about to win a cause of their choice $60,000 AUD and $25,00 NZD.

Australians and New Zealanders are renowned for being passionate about causes and for taking photos. This campaign will link these two passions and provide a platform for people to raise awareness of the causes they are most passionate about through creative imagery.

This is a Special Interest Group for those who wish to explore advanced techniques and ideas in photography; to go beyond images just for club competitions, but to do something more to challenge one’s skills for more creative and emotive images. Past the just technical or pictorial image to a broader, more artistic, more creative level, and for general exhibition or book production level. Click here to find out more…

Registrations are available each day from 8.00am at the main entrance.

Upon registration you will receive a pack containing your receipt, program for the weekend, dinner details (if attending) and some info from suppliers & supporters of the convention.

Proceedings will start at 9.00am on the Saturday & 8.30am on Sunday & Monday.

For those wanting to get straight into some photography we have organised a field trip to Toorbul on Saturday morning to capture some waders on the sand flats of the town. We are meeting at the Rural Fire Brigade which is at the corner of Pumicestone Rd & Freeman Rd, Toorbul. We are looking at meeting there at 6.00am with sunrise being at 6.30am & the tide should be half way in.

If you know someone who wants to attend but has not registered yet, the main closing date is next Friday 29th May so that we can organise numbers for the dinner on Saturday night & the cruise on Monday afternoon. People can register at the door but will be unable to attend the dinner & cruise.
